Miracles of Ordinary Life . . .

"I have never asked that nature
open any doors to reveal the truth of spirit or mystery;
I aspire to no shaman's path;
I expect no vision, no miracles except the ones
that fill every instant of ordinary life."

~~ Richard K. Nelson

What To Say About June...

"What is one to say about June, the time of perfect young summer,
the fulfillment of the promise of the earlier months,
and with as yet no sign to remind one that its fresh
young beauty will ever fade."
                                                                                         Gertrude Jekyll

Happy June!

The Milky Way and The Mountain

If you have three minutes and eight seconds, watch this video. I stumbled this and was awestruck by the beauty. Not only the visual beauty, but the beauty of the music that accompanies the video. Vimeo has the most incredible videos and many talented people post there.

In "The Mountain", Terje Sorgjerd captures the beautiful Milky Way galaxy along with one of the mountains known as El Teide in Spain.

Music is by Ludovico Einaudi, the song is called "Nuvole bianche"

My Monday Favorites - The Calm After the Storm

We are all thinking about it if not living it; the storm. Most of us have experienced something similar no matter what part of the country we live in. These pictures represent the calm after the storm. The images speak for themselves. Many people have lost something in the storm, a life, a loved one, a home, a business. Take a moment and think about what you can do to help someone who is weathering a storm in their life.
