Well folks, here we are in the last days of January.  I'm not one for New Year's Resolutions anymore, but if you are going to make one, make it one you can keep!

The snowman made a wise choice indeed!

Just goes to show you that in between those ears, snowman had more than just white mush!
Hope you enjoyed this little poem by Aileen Fisher.

Of those of you who have made resolutions, how's it going?

  1. What a cute poem! I love that last paragraph about the wooden smile. Yup, there is more inside a snowman's head than we think :)

  2. That is such a sweet little poem. I don't do resolutions but I am glad that January is drawing to a close. It's felt like such a long month and I'm looking forward to spring.

  3. Hiya I have just nominated you for a Liebster award! you can check my blog for more details

  4. I could have used Mr. Snowman's wooden smile a few times this past month!

  5. I haven't cracked open Moby-Dick yet. YET!

    1. Well, you still eleven months to go. Good luck!

  6. Dear Diane - such a great poem to end this month of January. Love the illustration as well. Thanks for bringing me some cheer!

  7. Such a cute little poem! My resolution is to not make any resolutions for the new year!

  8. Great poem! Love it! My resolutions are going, but they could be going better! LOL! Hugs ;o)

  9. What resolutions?!... I am far more unhealthy this year than I was last. Oooops!

  10. I think I will have to borrow the snowman's resolution - it's wet and cold (again!) but I resolve to keep smiling! I’ve not seen this poem before, but it’s lovely.

Thank you for leaving a comment! I do read them all and will try to respond if I'm able. Please know that all comments are appreciated, I love to hear your thoughts on my posts! ~ Diane
