Every Leaf....
Welcome November! This morning the new month began by softly gliding in like a falling leaf. Long before dawn November came gently drifting down from the tall maple trees and came to rest on the still green grass. After the boisterous celebration of Hallows Eve, let us start November on a calmer note. I have some lovely images I would like to share with you all today. Enjoy!

ReplyDeleteI've always liked November. I love the music you chose for your blog Diane.
ReplyDeleteThese kind of illustrations were often in the children's books I read as a kid. They give me nostalgic warm fuzzies!
ReplyDeleteNovember came gliding in like a falling snowflake here... lol!! Like Debra, these lovely, whimsical images that bring back happy childhood memories.
ReplyDeleteI found these images somewhere on the web under public domain. Those elves are so darn cute! No idea who the artist is. Oh, sorry Jane guess you are getting the remnants of Sandy there. No snow in our forecast yet! ~Diane

Those vintage images take me back to my childhood, and reminding me of so many wonderful times. What a lovely post. Have a great month ahead!
ReplyDeleteThe illustrations are so pretty I would love to know who the artist is, perhaps if you do find out you could do another post?
ReplyDeleteYour new header is beautiful.
Thanks Barbara ... yes I will. The header is my creation with a basic clip art piece that I used several image editing tools on to make it resemble my dear departed cat Cocoa. It is my depiction of his personality in cartoon form.... Always happy and full of fun and how I like to remember him!

Love the illustrations! Fall is definitely my favorite time of year...although yesterday we had snow, and of course hurricane Sandy blew away all the leaves, so all the pretty fall leaves have mostly blown away...it goes by so quickly.
