Craving Warm

You know that I crave cute stuff, but after this week, I'm craving warm more than anything else. I'm not alone, most of the country is in the deep freeze and it's only November! Why are we having January weather so soon? Oh that's right, it's climate change. We never really thought it would happen, but voila, here it is. We're not debating that here today though, we're just here to warm our frozen fingers and toes.

Gather near my virtual fire and gaze upon these warm and cuddly images.....

Lovely!!

  1. You are right, you are not alone! We here in Montreal, Canada, are also in the deep freeze, and the winds are very strong! Thank you so much for this very much needed post. The fireplace, hot chocolate, sweet cats, lovely music, candles, hot chocolate, puppies, bird and snow has warmed my heart.

    1. Thank you for visiting Linda, and Julie. Yes we are terribly cold here and the winds are awful. At least we don't have 5 feet of snow like some places! I'm going to go put the tea kettle on right now!

  7. Oh gosh Diane - I am feeling so much warmer since I paid you a visit. Mercy it got cold too soon. I am so glad you lit some fires and hopefully you and the kitties are cuddled up warming your toes and drinking a cup of hot chocolate. Take care friend and I am wishing you warmer days ahead. Hugs.

    1. Thanks for visiting everyone! Debbie it looks as though you've had more snow, I think we mainly got the cold! I'm glad you all stopped by and rested by my fire for a moment. The weekend is supposed to be just a bit warmer. Have a wonderful weekend!

    1. Thank you everyone! The weather is starting to warm back to normal temps for this time of year. We might even get some rain this weekend! I wouldn't mind if all the snow left for a bit, just want it to be back for Christmas! We'll be celebrating Thanksgiving soon!

    2. I love the idea of cake by the fire, but having my feet that close to it, you know that something would go wrong! I stopped bitching about the "cold" after my dad sent updates from MN. I should send him cocoa!

  13. Warm greetings, human, Diane,

I loved this. Such a gentle, cosy, warm ambience. I'm also glad that the bitter cold you've been experienced has somewhat subsided.

This makes me want to snuggle up to my human brother, Tristan. He was a nice fireplace. My human dad, Gary, doesn't have a fireplace in his lovely new home. He has told me he's going to get one of those realistic looking electric fireplaces.

Hugs and snuggles to you, my warm, kind human friend.

    Pawsitive wishes,

    Penny (( )) :)
