Cute Fix of the Day

Some days you just need a little cute! Today is another bitterly cold day, but I have to venture out to get my Drivers License renewed, (oh joy). Here in MN we have to renew every four years. So my thoughts when I received the renewal card were:
  1. Didn't I just renew that thing?
  2. I really love waiting in line for an hour or more.
  3. Past remarks made by the examiners. Things like...."Are you sure your weight hasn't changed?" and "Wow, you barely passed the vision test!"... I had just had my eyes tested two months before hand! My weight had changed maybe 5 pounds! Geez!!

OK, so here is your cute fix for the day.  I found it on my Twitter feed and just realized that I can embed twitter stuff on my blog. How handy!

Here you go enjoy this little cutie!

Don't things always go better with some cute?
Have a wonderful day! ~~ Diane

  3. Diane,
How sweet - is that a white fox?

I have to renew next year too. I hope your eye test is good.

    1. Yes here is more info. The arctic fox (Vulpes lagopus), also known as the white fox, polar fox, or snow fox, is a small fox native to the Arctic regions of the Northern Hemisphere and is common throughout the Arctic tundra biome.[1][3] It is well adapted to living in cold environments. It has a deep thick fur which is brown in summer and white in winter. It averages in size at about 85.3 cm (33.6 in) in body length, with a generally rounded body shape to minimize the escape of body heat.

  5. Basking in the sun with a smile. So cute!

I have to renew my driver's license this year, too. Ours is every five years, along with our health card.

  8. A real cutie! We have to renew every 6 years, and when I renewed I didn't pass the eye exam without my glasses like I did before. :( & we're not allowed to smile anymore, so all the photos look like mug shots, ugh.

Thanks for the winter dose of cute!

  9. Dear Diane - I needed this cute today...so cold here too. We here in Ohio renew our license every four years as well...unlike you though our little town is usually not that busy and there is only a few minutes of waiting time. It is the picture taking that makes me cringe. Just don't understand why my photo can't stay the same...really like the one they took at 20 (LOL) - fifty six just doesn't look as good! Hope you are having a great day. Thanks for making mine.

    1. Hi All! Well I did pass my eye test and the examiner barely spoke, so no weird remarks!! Actually the wait was only about 15 minutes. I think folks did not want to go outside yesterday because it was so cold. When I was driving over to the DMV, the temp outside was -4 degrees! Thanks for the compliments about my blog header. Loved hearing about some of your own experiences with the DMV too! ~~~ Diane

  10. Geez! You have to wonder about those people. I'd like to think I'd come up with some kind of snappy insult.

Although my favorite experience at the DMV was standing in line behind someone who was getting her license renewed. They were going over all of the questions, and then came to, "Still an organ donor?"

This look of abject horror came over the woman's face and she said, "Well, I haven't yet!"

All of us, even the DMV person, burst out laughing, as clearly she had surrendered her brain at some point already.

  12. How sweet! This definitely is cute and adorable. I hope all went well with getting your drivers license renewed. The last time I went they took a new photo, but then didn't use it. I still look young in my photo - I'm not complaining ... lol.

  13. Indeed, they do Diane and this is seriously cute! I had no idea about the embedding things from Twitter. I will have to go take a look at that. Have a lovely day. xx
