I decided to take a look back at a few of my favorite items that sold last year.
They are all now in their happy, new homes.
Pink Rosina Teacup
Alice in Wonderland Paint Set
Little Brown Bear on Log Planter
Puff the Blue Kitten
The Sleeping Fairy
The Squirrel on the Log planter
And my all time favorites!
The Cats in Hats framed prints!
Here I have digitally cleaned them up and want to share them with you!
Right click on image and click 'save image as' to download.
I've also included a bit about the meaning of the flowers they wear.
Rose
The meaning of a pink rose: Grace, gladness, joy, perfect happiness, please believe me, gratitude, admiration, gentility.
The meaning of a pink rose: Grace, gladness, joy, perfect happiness, please believe me, gratitude, admiration, gentility.
Hope
The meaning of the forget-me-not: True love, hope, remembrance, memories.
Pansy
The meaning of the pansy: Recipient is being thought about, loyalty. The flower's name comes from the French word pensée which means thought or remembrance. Because pansies often have three colors in one blossom, they have been symbolic of the Trinity.
I hope you enjoyed my look back at some of these cute vintage items.
Have there been any items that you have parted with that you
wish you could have back?
Diane,
ReplyDeleteYour vintage items are precious. I can see why you would miss them once they sold. The pink tea cup is a beauty.
Have a lovely weekend.

such adorable cat art
ReplyDeleteSome copies of articles I wrote a long time ago. I had a cleaning day and recycled a bunch, then regretted it.
ReplyDeleteI could never have a shop - I'd keep everything!
Dear Diane - each one of these items are precious...I love teacups and like you my favorite would have been the framed prints of "Cats in Hats". So interesting to know what the flowers mean too. Thank you for making my rainy day full of sunshine. It is 40 something here now - snow gone and an inch of rain is forecast...crazy weather but at least it is warm! Hope you are having a delightful day.
ReplyDeleteI love all of these. I really love the Alice in Wonderland paint set
ReplyDeleteEvery single one adorable.
ReplyDeleteI have to admit I am enamored with the sleeping fairy .
Hi Diane, the cats in hats and the sleeping fairy are adorable. I can understand why you were sad to see them go.
ReplyDeleteThere have been so many things I’ve regretted parting with over the years but the one that sticks in my mind was a set of Moomin books by Tove Jansson. Not only had she signed them, but she had also hand drawn one of the Moomin characters in the front of each book. I don’t suppose I will ever see the like again.
I love these all Diane! I could kick myself for missing out on the pink sleigh and the black cats! I have to keep a better eye on your shop! It is hard sometimes to part with things! I know a couple of paintings that I sold, I wish I didn't, but then it makes me so happy, that someone else is cherishing my art! Big Hugs ;o)
ReplyDeleteI forgot to say, thanks for the images and the meanings of the flowers!!!
ReplyDeleteGreetings human, Diane,
ReplyDeleteYour vintage items captured so beautifully. Such lovely, thoughtful pawsts you pawduce. I shall pretend I didn't see the cats! :)
Pawsitive wishes,
Penny the Jack Russell dog and modest internet superstar! :)
I would have had a very difficult time parting with all of these things! :) I love the planters, and the kitty cards. How adorable. And now i know the meanings of the flowers too!
ReplyDeleteVery cute items! I especially love those cats in hats. Adorable!
ReplyDeleteI find it so hard to part with my vintage stuff. I adore the kitties and will be downloading - thanks! :)
ReplyDeleteCute stuff! Love the pretty cup and saucer, and the pink sleigh. It is hard to let go, but then you can buy new things. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone for visiting!
DeletePam... You are absolutely right!
RK.... I know how you feel, but we would all end up hoarders if we never let go of stuff!
Barbara... Yes, sometimes we had our one chance! I regret NOT buying something more than buying and selling an item! At least I know it went to a good home and not in the trash!
Penny... sorry the cats upset you! I love dogs too!
Have a great week all! And Always Crave Cute! ~~ Diane
Wow, super cute! I would miss them too! I especially love anything cat related!
