Almost Blazing Hot!!! Not on Fire Yet!!

It is hot here in Minnesota. No, not like Texas or Arizona hot. Still hot, 98 degrees and humid and heading towards 100 by the end of the day. We are not used to that here. Winter cold and snow piled to the roof, that we are used to. This not so much, except lately. Mother Nature is really ticked off at us. She must be, she tried to blow us away (tornados), then wash us away (floods, rain) then roast us (fire and heat). I am so sorry Mother we will try and do better we will try to behave...

Meanwhile, I am staying inside as much as possible until this heat wave ends. I found a super blog with tutorials that you might want to check out. Here is one on how to make a cute little beverage or ice cream container wrap.

This will keep your little fingers from freezing whilst you sip your ice cold drink on the blazing hot patio.

  1. Thanks for sharing this great blog with us. Lots of projects to try.

You sound like you are having weather like us. We had a brutal winter and today we hit 95 as well. I gotta say though that living in the country is easier in the summer than in the winter because we don't have to depend on snow plows to get out of our street.

We are having some nasty storms lately aren't we?

    Try to stay cool.

  2. I feel bad for you. In South Florida we are just beginning to hit the low 90's. It will continue to climb gradually until September but we are used it. Everywhere you go there is central air conditioning blasting.

  3. Hi Sher & Letty,
Thanks for stopping by. It's official MSP (Minneapolis/St. Paul) was the hottest place in the US today. We hit 102 downtown! I hid out in my basement office most of the day catching up on blogging and paperwork etc. I did have time to mix up a batch of new paper clay so I will be working on new projects in a couple of days. We are supposed to be back in the 70's by the weekend. Think cool thoughts!
